Quotation (verbatim): “LLANDOUGH MANOR, rentals, with Cogan and other manors” (1808–1881); “LLANDOUGH MANOR, presentments, with other manors” (1793–1934).
Fits with: Bute bought the lordship of Llandough in 1793. The rentals run to 1881, so they span John Williams’s tenancy from 1855 and the 1877 change. A rent entry for Great House before and after 1877 would show whether the house parcel left the farm’s rent in 1877. The presentments run to 1934 and cover the Court Leet that met at Llandough (EV-0243, 1908).
Cuts against: Catalogue lines only. Manorial rentals may list chief rents and cottages, not farm rack-rents, which sat in the estate’s farm rentals. The volumes are unseen.
