Forensic Assessment — Ideal Homes Wales#
Scope: Ideal Homes Wales Ltd and its successors as later recipients/developers of land within the post-1987 chain. It is not treated as responsible for the original title history without proof.
Established role#
HM Land Registry’s WA231076 chronology records transfers from BP Properties to Ideal Homes and later corrections in 1993–94. The development stage therefore matters because it shows what land was represented as transferable after the 1987 amalgamation.
Forensic control test#
Identify the exact transfer instruments, plans, consideration, title numbers, ownership certificates and planning representations for each relevant parcel. Compare the post-transfer plan with the pre-1987 WA231076/WA240304 material and the historical Parcel A/B map.
Current finding#
As at 10-10-2026, the material reviewed does not establish wrongdoing by Ideal Homes Wales. This does not rule out unresolved downstream title or planning questions. The evidential importance is downstream: later transactions can show whether the conflated title description became embedded in subsequent conveyances and planning.
Human action#
Obtain the 1993/94 transfer and correction records, relevant planning files and successor-company records. Preserve exact company identity and avoid treating “Ideal Homes” as a generic label.
Acceptance: every relevant transfer is tied to an exact title, plan, date and party.
Institutional appearance timeline — linked source index#
Coverage rule: this is a chronological navigation map of published Wiki source pages found by searching the current site index for “Ideal Homes Wales”. Every event label links directly to the page containing the source. The page is intended to avoid duplicating source narratives. It records mention/appearance, not culpability. The displayed date is a source/title date cue, not automatically the date on which the named institution acted. This matters for newspaper stories, later summaries and titles naming more than one event; open the source before attributing an act. Search indexing is a discovery aid, not proof of exhaustive coverage. 🕒

Records-access register appearances — direct row links#
Rows below match the institution’s name or an alias in the reply register’s sender/reference or recorded description. A match shows an appearance in the records trail, not necessarily an act by this institution.
No matching reply-register row was found for this name/alias set. That is not evidence that no correspondence exists; broaden the alias search when new records are added. 🕒

High-level Cedwyn Estate theory link: The Ideal Homes transfer is a key successor-title checkpoint for the proposed A-North woodland strand. Its conveyance and plan may be more evidence about where the woodland polygon went if they can be overlaid on the 1955 footprint and historic Parcel-A claim. A later purchase does not by itself prove that the seller’s title was invalid or that the buyer knew of an earlier family claim. Read the Cedwyn Estate Working Theory.
